Information on cookies and other tracking tools

Version 1.0 · In force from 29/10/2026

Leggi in italiano

Under Article 122 of Legislative Decree No. 196/2003 (the Italian Privacy Code) and Articles 12 and 13 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (“GDPR”), and in line with the Guidelines of the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali) of 10 June 2021, BeChase S.r.l. (“BeChase”) explains on this page which cookies and other tools store information on your device, or access information stored on it, when you use the BeChase platform.

1. What this page covers

This page covers the BeChase platform, available at https://app.bechase.net (“Platform”).

2. Who the controller is

The controller is BeChase S.r.l., with registered office at Via della Previdenza Sociale 2, 42124 Reggio Emilia (RE), Italy, e-mail info@bechase.net.

3. How we classify the tools

Each tool listed in section 4 is classified according to three criteria.

CriterionCategoriesWhat it means
Purposenecessary, analytics, profilingNecessary: without it we cannot provide a feature you have asked for, such as access to your account, security or remembering your choices. Analytics: it helps us understand how the Platform is used. Profiling: it is used to build a profile for advertising or personalised content; BeChase does not use any.
Who sets itfirst party, third partyFirst party: set by BeChase, including through suppliers acting on its behalf. Third party: set by another party, which also processes the information for its own purposes.
Durationsession, persistentSession: deleted when you close your browser. Persistent: stays on your device until the stated expiry or until you delete it.

We classify as necessary only the tools without which the feature you requested could not be provided, not those that are merely useful. Only these are used without your consent.

4. Which tools we use

4.1 Tools necessary for the service to work (no consent required)

ToolWho sets itPurposeDuration
Login cookiefirst party, through the authentication provider (Supabase)keeping you logged in to your account from one page to the next and protecting the sessionup to 400 days; deleted when you log out
E-mail procedure cookiefirst party, through the authentication provider (Supabase)completing securely the procedures started from a link sent by e-mail, such as resetting your passwordno more than 400 days
Platform local storagefirst partykeeping in your browser a copy of your profile data, including your CV text, of your saved job postings and Tracker, of your last search and of your comparisons, synchronised with the copy on the server, as well as your interface preferencesuntil you log out (see below)
Temporary copies of company information and Briefingsfirst partyshowing you again the company information and Briefings already prepared, without generating them each timeseven days

When you log out, the Platform local storage is deleted once your data has been saved on the server. If it has not, for example because of a network problem, it stays in your browser so that it is not lost. If another person logs in from the same browser, it is always deleted first.

These tools are needed to give you what you have asked for: access to your account and use of the service. This is why we do not ask for your consent, as provided for by Article 122 of the Italian Privacy Code.

4.2 Paying for the subscription (Stripe)

The Premium Plan subscription is paid on a Stripe page, to which the Platform redirects you. The cookies that Stripe uses on that page are set by Stripe and described in its cookie policy (stripe.com/legal/cookies-policy).

5. Consent

No tool requiring consent is active on the Platform, so no notice is shown. If we introduce any, we will ask for your consent before activating them (section 8).

6. Who receives the information

Supabase, which manages authentication on our behalf, processes the data on servers in the European Union. The other recipients of the data of Platform users, including the payment provider, are listed in section 5 of the Privacy Policy.

7. How to manage cookies and local storage from your browser

You can view, block and delete cookies and website data in your browser settings, usually under “Privacy and security”. You can also set your browser to delete cookies when you close it.

Please note that:

  • if you block the necessary tools, you will not be able to log in to your account or use the Platform;
  • if you delete the website data, you are logged out and lose only the changes not yet saved on the server: your profile data remains on our systems. To delete it, use the “Delete my account” command or write to info@bechase.net.

8. Updates to this page

We update this page whenever we change the tools we use, before the change takes effect. Each version is numbered and dated, and the list in section 4 reflects the tools active on the date shown at the top of the page. If we introduce tools that require consent, we will ask for your consent before activating them.

9. Your rights and contacts

The processing of the personal data of Platform users is described in the Privacy Policy. There you will also find how to exercise the rights provided for by Articles 15 to 22 GDPR.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali, www.garanteprivacy.it) or with the supervisory authority of the European Union country where you habitually reside or work (Article 77 GDPR).

3. Come classifichiamo gli strumenti

Ogni strumento elencato al paragrafo 4 è classificato secondo tre criteri.

Criterio Categorie Che cosa significa

4.2 Pagamento dell'abbonamento (Stripe)

  • se blocchi gli strumenti necessari, non potrai accedere all'account né usare la Piattaforma;

9. I tuoi diritti e i contatti

15-22 GDPR.

77 GDPR).
